From Beginner to the Pilot Liscence
Learn how to fly.
Beginner Course
Day 1 - 2:
Our base is situated at Calima Lake. There we will start the introduction to the sport. We will explain you the basic functions and you will get to know your equipment.
After a few comprehensive training sessions on the ground you will get comfortable with the equipment and get prepared for your firsts flights. (1-3 days)
Day 3 -5 :
On the third day you will be able to do your first flights from a higher altitude.
Our instructors will be with you all the time via the radio and ensure that everything is alright.
During this week you will learn a lot about glider-control, take-offs and landings. 10 high-altitude (>400m) flights.
Highfly Course (1 week):
After the 5th day, we will focus on learning and improving your take-offs and landings.
Depending on the conditions and your gained skills, we will try to catch some thermals and prepare you for the following weeks. 20 high-altitude flights.
Pilot Course (1-2 weeks):
For completing the beginner course and to get the paragliding pilot license you need to have 40 flights and a comprehensive theory course with exam. In the "Pilot course" we will make our last 10 high-altitute flights and prepare you for the theory exam. After the 40 flights you will need to make an exam flight where our instructors examine your skills and fill out the formular for the paragliding federation for you to get the liscense.
We provide you equipment during the training with the option to buy it if you want to continue.
